Combined Jewish Philanthropies
Overview: Nancy has been an avid supporter of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP), the Jewish federation of greater Boston, for over two decades. She has been focused on promoting the rights and opportunities of people with disabilities and their families in the Jewish community. In order to increase the effectiveness of its grants and advance special needs giving in the Jewish community, the Foundation has supported special needs programs of many organizations through CJP, these include Jewish Family & Children’s Services’ (JF&CS) CHAI housing and residential services program, the Jewish Vocational Service’s (JVS) Transitions to Work (formerly called Connections) career training and placement program, and Pathways, a collaboration between JF&CS, JVS and CJP to expand opportunities for people with disabilities to enter the work force.
