Overview: Susan’s passion for the arts is exemplified in the Foundation’s partnership with WGBH, New England’s public media broadcaster. For over a decade, the Foundation has supported a wide array of WGBH’s educational and cultural media productions.

Giving Highlight: The Foundation began their support of WGBH’s Documentary Investment Group (DIG) for the production of American Experience‘s programming, which included the documentary Stonewall Uprising. The film, which premiered in 2011, chronicled the “Stonewall Riots” that occurred after a police raid of a bar in Greenwich Village in 1969, a raid which marked the turning point in the LGBT civil rights movement.
